Her love for the outdoors, cycling, and railroads led her to rail biking. The original goal was to open wherever she could find tracks, and in searching for a location, she came to the realization that many Michigan railroads have been ripped out and made into bike paths. With years of research and several phone calls, trips, and perseverance, she was able to finally offer her very first rail biking excursions in her home state of Michigan. Macie wanted to offer a unique experience in a beautiful setting that guests will remember for a lifetime. She encourages you to try something completely new, as rail biking isn’t the most common of activities, in the hope that you’ll fall in love with it as much as she did! Customers will receive a full refund within 72 hours in case of the operator (Wheels on Rails) cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. The operator reserves the right to cancel or delay due to weather conditions, however, we typically run rain or shine. We do not give refunds for cancellations of any sort due to it being such a high demanding activity this year. We do have an option to purchase cancellation protection when scheduling your tour, which allows you to get a full refund before 72 hours of your scheduled trip. We do want to work with you and reschedule your trip if you cannot make it for your scheduled trip. Feel free to give email us at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled trip to reschedule.
